CINEMA TRIP !

Dear Science Fiction and Fantasy members,

The time has come. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be out in cinemas Friday 12th December – and who wouldn’t LOVE to watch it in IMAX quality at one of the first showings?! Below will be all the details you need if you’re interested in coming along on our epic quest to the lonely mountain (or er, Gateshead to us human folk.)

We will be taking a trip to see The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies in IMAX, Gateshead on Friday 12th December, at a 7pm showing.  We will be providing travel via a coach, so no need to worry about getting to and from the Metrocentre!

We have subsidized the cost of the trip to £14 in total for a student cinema ticket and return travel to the IMAX (you MUST bring your student card to the cinema otherwise you will have to pay for an adult ticket outright!) 

The coach will pick up and drop off students from the DSU at 6pm – Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early as if you are not present at 6pm the coach will have to leave due to traffic between Durham and Newcastle to arrive on time for the showing. This may mean for Queen’s Campus students getting the X1 earlier than you anticipate! The return journey should make it back to the DSU at approximately 11pm.
